(1) The Government of Nepal may make rules to carry out the purpose of this Act.

(2) Without adversely affecting the generality of the rights given by sub-section (1), especially in the following matters. Can make rules:-
(a) In relation to behavior related to Swayambar, Saipata, Kanyadaan, Mukherna, chance meeting,
(b) Regarding the feeding of the people by the bride,
(c) In relation to behavior for years after marriage,
(d) In relation to conduct before or after delivery,
(e) Regarding looking at the face of the mother and father,
(f) In relation to Vathi,
(g) In relation to social behavior,
(h) In relation to giving charity etc. while doing the work of fatherhood,
(i) Regarding determining the number of guests to be invited to social engagements,
(j) Regarding the return of Dulan,
(k) regarding fixing the maximum number of near relatives to be invited to the feast.
